The wedding season is in full swing, and it’s time to don your traditional attire while celebrating the union of your loved ones. Another thing we look forward to at weddings is enjoying delicious food. A wedding feast usually features a wide range of dishes, leaving guests spoiled for choice. Recently, a video of one such wedding has gone viral, highlighting the glaring difference between non-vegetarian and vegetarian counters. Between the two, non-vegetarian food has clearly emerged as the crowd favourite.
The clip, posted on Instagram, shows a chaotic wedding scene near a non-vegetarian counter. Guests are seen bickering and fighting over food, with some pushing each other to get ahead. They approach the waiters holding plates in their hands and are seen demanding to be served first. Waiters have to struggle to survive amidst the huge crowds. Who knew that non-vegetarian items could be in such high demand? Some guests even take matters into their own hands and snatch utensils straight from the tray. It’s safe to say that this is a wedding scene like no other.

As the video progresses, we see chicken tikkas wrapped in aluminum foil being fried. There are also kebabs. Don’t miss that guy snatching almost all the kebabs from the waiter. Soon, the scene changes to the vegetarian counter, and it’s a completely different world. Why? Well, there are very few customers at this counter. We watch pakodas and aloo tikkis being fried as waiters patiently wait for guests to arrive, sometimes even fending off flies. Their indifferent faces are a clear evidence of the lack of customers at the vegetarian stall. This shows that when meat alternatives are available, vegetarian dishes are often left behind.
