Actress Vidya Balan is returning to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise with the character of Manjulika, which she played in the original film 17 years ago. Expressing his happiness at the trailer launch of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Jaipur on October 9, the actor thanked producer Bhushan Kumar for bringing him back in the series.

Vidya shared in Hindi, “I will keep Bhushan with me (laughs). Thanks for bringing him to me. I am back in the franchise after 17 years, and I am really happy with it. In these 17 years, Bhool Bhulaiyaa earned me a lot of love and hopefully Part 3 will do the same for the next 17 years.”

“And as Kartik said that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was shot in Jaipur, Part 1 was also completely shot in Jaipur. So Jaipur and the team have an old connection, and that’s why we have the trailer here. Doing the launch event. So, please make sure you reach the theaters to watch the film on November 1, otherwise Manjulika will come to haunt you (laughs),’ the actor concluded.

Apart from Vidya Balan, the Anees Bazmee directorial also stars Kartik Aryan, Trupti Dimri, Madhuri Dixit and Rajpal Yadav in lead roles. It will be released in theaters on November 1.
