Vidya Balan was recently seen interacting with Rodrigo Canals in some big shows. In her conversation, the Parineeta actress expanded how she missed 8-9 south films, when her Malayalam film was sheltered with Mohanlal.
Vidyalam is considered a ‘zinc’ in cinema
In her conversation, Vidya Balan recalled her early days in cinema and how she was offered a role in front of Mohanlal. According to his words, “In my Malayalam film, I must have been shot for 6-7 days. Director and actor Mohanlal had a problem, and because of this, we were not shooting for a long time.”
“I didn’t know how it was back in a film, and thought how it works. Suddenly, he told me that the shooting was stopped, and I came back to Mumbai. So far, the word spreads that the word spreads that there is a South Indian girl who was doing a Malayalam film at a time when most South actress was Punjabis.”
During this period, Vidya Balan revealed that she received various offers from South Indian films, in which filmmakers called her, told the story and discussed the remuneration.
Vidya said, “In this way, I probably said yes to 8-9 films in the south. I was thinking of myself, I was a star. Later, I came to know that Mohanlal film Chakra was given shelter. It was sheltered, I had lost each of the 8, 9 films I had introduced.”
Ending her words, the actress underlined that the filmmakers of the South admitted that it was her “energy” that caused shelter to the cycle, considering her to consider a zinc.

For those people, Mohanlal and Vidya Balan were designed to cooperate on a film during the day called Chakravarti. The film was played by veteran director Kamal.
However, the film is being sheltered, the late director AK Lohitadas revived the project with a cast change. Instead of Mohanlal, the hero was played as a female leadership by Prithvi Jasmine with Prithvi Jasmine, with Vidya’s place.
