Genelia’s recent work
Talking about work front, Genelia was recently seen Raja Shivaji.
India Today gave the film 3 stars. Part of the review reads, “Raja Shivaji Ultimately comes out as a film that lives up to the bravery and story of Shivaji. Its scale, intention and spirit are right, but narrative precision is lacking. For those invested in the story and legacy of Shivaji Maharaj, it provides ample moments to stay connected.”
The historical drama is co-written and directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who also plays the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film chronicles the reign of the ruler and his conflicts with Aurangzeb, and is produced by Mumbai Film Company and Jio Studios.
