Vicky Kaushal can’t wait to watch Dhurandhar 2, calls Aditya Dhar a great filmmaker
Vicky Kaushal expressed happiness over the huge success of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar franchise and praised it. He said that he can’t wait to see the second part.
Actor Vicky Kaushal praised filmmaker Aditya Dhar stalwart Franchise. Speaking at the red carpet of the International Film Festival of Delhi 2026, the actor expressed his excitement over the huge success of the films.
Talking about the franchise, Vicky said PTI“I am very happy to see how stalwart is working. I loved the first part, I have yet to see the second part. But Aditya is a great filmmaker, he has a great cast, and I’m so happy that everyone is loving the film so much, and I can’t wait to see it as soon as I go back to Mumbai.”

His praise assumes significance considering his past collaboration with Vicky Aditya Dhar on Uri: The Surgical Strike. The film marked a turning point in his career and established Dhar as a filmmaker worth paying attention to.

The follow-up and final part, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, was released on March 19 and explored the story of Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari. The film delves into his journey into the underworld of Karachi while exploring his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi.
The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor and Sara Arjun.
Combining themes of action, espionage and national security, the sequel has also seen strong box office figures, reportedly crossing Rs 1,000 crore globally.
