Vijay Deverakonda is back to make some entertaining projects for his viewers. Vijay Deverakonda announces next film with director Shouryuv
Vijay Deverakonda can’t stay away from making films for his millions of enthusiastic fans. Even while planning his wedding with Rashmika Mandanna, the actor was working on Raanabali. Ahead of the upcoming pan-India period drama film hitting the theatres, the South Indian superstar has started working on his next with director Shouryuv.
The film, tentatively titled VDxShouryuv, marks the first collaboration between the actor and the filmmaker. Sharing the announcement poster, the Kabir Singh actor introduced the team working on the project.
In the caption, he wrote, “My next is – #VDxShouryuv. Introducing the team that did the scary job of making this scary movie. This cracker global team was so happy to work on this with Shoryuv with his wild imagination and intense heart. Roar my friends. I will give you my all. Extreme excitement and lots of love.”

The interesting poster highlights love and anger in red and reads, “All this anger was once love”. It shows many people holding various weapons. However, they are led by Vijay, dressed in royal clothes, wearing gold jewelery and holding four deadly dogs by their leashes.
Talking about Vijay’s upcoming release, Ranabaali is a period drama based in 19th century colonial India. Directed by Rahul Sankrityayan, it is inspired by historical events of the Rayalaseema region.
While Vijay plays the lead character of a fierce freedom fighter, he is also joined in the film by his wife, actress Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the warrior’s wife, Jayamma. The producers chose international actor Arnold Vosloo to play the villain Sir Theodore Hector.
Ranabaali is scheduled for theatrical release on September 11, 2026 in multiple languages including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
