As Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Bhediya celebrates its second anniversary on November 24, 2024, Abhishek Banerjee took to Instagram to share some unseen behind-the-scenes pictures from the sets of the horror comedy. Unsurprisingly, it was the actor’s quirky caption, “Jungle Kand ko 2 saal honge,” that caught attention.
In the first picture, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon and Abhishek Banerjee are seen posing with the team. The second is a fun group selfie, while the third shows the entire wolf team gathering together and enjoying a meal. Bonus points for spotting Varun’s wife Natasha Dalal in the pictures!

Talking about the film, Bhediya is a 2022 Bollywood horror-comedy directed by Amar Kaushik, who is known for his blend of humor and horror.
The film stars Varun Dhawan as Bhaskar, a man who turns into a werewolf, Kriti Sanon as a veterinarian, Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in lead roles.
Set in the lush forests of Arunachal Pradesh, the film combines stunning visuals, quirky humor and social commentary. Bhediya was praised for its unique concept, VFX and performances, especially Varun’s transformation sequences.
Audiences appreciated the new form of folklore-inspired storytelling, making it an entertaining addition to the horror-comedy genre of Bollywood.
On the work front, Varun was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He will next be seen in Baby John alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh and Jackie Shroff. The film, directed by Kelis, will be released in theaters on December 25, 2024.
With the release of its first song Nain Matakka, the film is already creating excitement among cinema lovers.
On the other hand, Sanon is set to star in Tere Ishq Mein, directed by Aanand L Rai and co-starring Dhanush. Pinkvilla reports that Sanon has also been signed for another project under Rai’s production house, Color Yellow Productions. Sources reveal that the actress will star in a horror-comedy produced by Rai.
Pinkvilla shared that Kriti Sanon is exploring various collaborations with Aanand L Rai and admires his work. He has reportedly approved the horror-comedy script, After substantial progress is made on Tere Ishq Mein, the shooting of the project is expected to begin in mid-2025.
