US SEC Yet in a bribe case of $ 265 million, his nephew will not give legal documents to Adani

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a status update in the Federal Court in New York, in which the ongoing efforts to provide legal documents to billionaire Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar in connection with the civil securities case registered last year.

In a June 27 letter, the US District Court’s Magistrate Judge R Chaon for New York (EDNY) of the US District Court has been presented, the SEC said it continues to create a formal service of summons and complaints under the provisions of the Hague Service Convention.

Defendants, who are located in India, have not been officially served.

The US SEC has to summon the alleged 265 million payments to the alleged 265 million payments to the founder and president of the Adani group, Gautam Adani and its nephew Sagar, as there is no jurisdiction to call a foreign national directly, through proper diplomatic channels.

The SEC originally lodged a complaint on November 20, 2024, alleging that the two US Securities Act violated Adani Green Energy Ltd.

According to the SEC, the rule of the federal rules of the civil procedure ((F) operates service in foreign jurisdiction and allows the use of international treaties such as the Hague Convention. The rule does not impose a certain time limit for service, although reasonable efforts are being made.
