According to Reeva, the delivery agent arrived with the order at around 3.30 pm and his behavior was inappropriate from the beginning. She alleged that despite repeatedly asking him to stop, he continued using rude and abusive language and said the situation escalated when her mother, Nisha Arora, and sister Muskaan Arora intervened.

Recalling the sequence of events, Reeva said, “From the beginning, his tone was rude and inappropriate. When I responded, the situation did not improve. My mother (Nisha Arora) stepped in to address the issue calmly and calm things down, but instead of resolving it, the delivery agent continued to behave disrespectfully.” He said the confrontation did not end at the door and continued after the agents left the building.

He alleged that the situation worsened when his sister confronted him in the lift. Reeva said, “My sister confronted him in the lift when he was leaving, despite asking him to stop, he continued to use inappropriate language. At that time, we felt that the behavior had crossed a line and it needed to be addressed seriously. Derogatory, inappropriate and lewd language was used towards us without any provocation. This was not just a one-time comment, he kept speaking in the same manner again and again.”

Police were called as the conflict escalated

Reeva said she and her family faced alleged verbal harassment for about 30 to 40 minutes. The 20-year-old man said, “It started at our door and escalated when he continued his behavior while leaving. When he tried to leave the premises after the fight, we followed him and managed to stop him from walking away.”

“We immediately contacted Mumbai Police, who responded very quickly and rushed to the spot to take action,” he said.

Explaining why the family decided to involve the police, Reeva said they could no longer ignore the case. “They responded very promptly and took immediate action as soon as they arrived. The matter was handled at that time and as of now, it is being addressed through the appropriate channels,” he said.

Complaint filed with Blinkit

Along with contacting the police, Reeva said a formal complaint has also been filed with the delivery app. “We have also filed a formal complaint with Blinkit, as accountability at that level is equally important. We are currently awaiting a clear response and resolution from them,” he claimed.

Reflecting on the incident, the actor said that companies need to have stricter screening, better training and clear behavioral guidelines for delivery personnel. “Companies should ensure that their agents are trained not only in logistics but also in communication and professionalism. There should also be strong accountability systems, quick response mechanisms, proper complaint management and consequences for misconduct,” he said.
