Two Indian restaurants in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant List 2025 unveiled on 25 March – Musk, Mumbai and Indian Pronunciation, New Delhi.
Two Indian restaurants announced at the award ceremony held on 25 March at the award ceremony held in Seoul, South Korea, at the 50 best restaurant in Asia at 2025.
In Mumbai, Musk secured 19th rank in the list and India also won the title of Best Restaurant in 2025. On the other hand, the Indian accents of New Delhi were only other Indian representatives, ranked 46th in Asia’s 50 best restaurant list.
Bangkok and Tokyo dominated the list, otherwise with nine entries.

Bangkok’s Gagan Restaurant, run by Indian chef Gaganon Anand, tops the list. This restaurant is known for its progressive Indian cuisine mixed with the influences of Japan, France and Thailand.
Their special menu have more than 20 courses, each carefully designed with unique tastes, textures and techniques. Food experience is interactive and attractive, almost like a live show, with creative presentations, alcohol pairing and a fun, vibrant environment. No wonder it always has a long waiting list (at least two months).
As a mosque in Mumbai, it is known for focusing on local ingredients and tasting ten-cures by head chef Varun Totlani. The menu changes with the weather and offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. In cuisine, Kashmiri is filled with fresh peas or barbecuse pork, with Moral Ponra (Kolocosia leaves).
Indian pronunciation in Lodhi, New Delhi also celebrates Indian cuisine but with modern and innovative touch. After two decades after being run by Chef Manish Mehrotra, the restaurant is now headed by executive chef Shantanu Mehrotra.

In the much-awaited tasting menu, small cuts such as small cuts such as khakhara mixed and bail paper with meyo, licking tikka, and mita pickle with green apple and mango pickle sauce with mita pickle pork ribs. Interesting vegetarian options such as 100-layer cheese, cauliflower coffee, pomegranate avocado raita, and Burrata Papadi Chaat dot menu. There is also a la cart menu and four-cures lunch.

The ranking is made by the votes of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurant Academy, including the “impressive, gender-balanced” group of 350-Plus leaders made from food writers and critics, chefs, restaurants, and regional Pakistani experts, which displays notable food installations from 16 cities in the entire region.
Prior to the ceremony, the organization released an extended list of Asia’s best restaurant, which was ranked from 51st to 100th. India had a strong presence in this list compared to the top 50. Seven Indian restaurants depicted in 51st to 100th rankings: Nar (Kasauli, 66th), Formalore (Bengaluru, 68th), Americano (Mumbai, 71st), Injuries (Delhi, 87th), Table (Mumbai, 87th), (Mumbai, 91st).
