Twenty One completed its second week and collected Rs. Earned Rs. After collecting Rs 4.50 crore. 21.50 crores in the first week. It dropped by a massive 80 percent in the second week, sealing its fate at the box office. The military drama starring Agastya Nanda, Simar Bhatia, Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat and others could not impress the audience much, which is why it has not seen any growth so far.
The film had a good start, but could not sustain and soon lost its momentum. The running cume of twenty one has reached Rs. Earning 26 crores in two weeks. With the release of new titles this weekend – Happy Patel, One Too Cha Cha, Rahu Ketu, and others, Twenty One is almost off the screen. If the film had received strong word-of-mouth, it would have had a chance of making respectable earnings.
There used to be a belief in the industry that the first film of the year does not work. This belief continues with Twenty One too, as the first release of 2026 failed to perform at the box office. Of course, this is just a superstition and is not the reason why this film or other films in the past have not been successful.
A major reason for the Sriram Raghavan directed film flopping at the box office is the mixed reactions and criticism regarding its story against a rival country. Although a section enjoyed the film, many shunned it on ideological grounds. It will be interesting to see how the film performs during its OTT release.
The box office collection of Twenty One in India is as follows: :
| Day | box office |
| week 1 | Rupee. 21.50 crores |
| week 2 | Rupee. 4.50 crores |
| Total | Rupee. 26 crores net |
