Leo Woodall is no stranger to challenges, but his upcoming film puts the skilled actor in the spotlight once again. In a never-seen-before avatar for the actor, he will play the role of a piano tuner. While the film’s global release is scheduled for May 22, PVRINOX Pictures has announced that the Indian theatrical release will take place a week later, on May 29, 2026.

A young piano tuner, who values his ears, which have the skill to recognize the sound and pitch of an instrument as well as everything around him, is at a crossroads when his talent leads him to the illegal but money-making job of opening safes without breaking or causing harm. In desperate need of some cash, he ends up on the other side of the law under a securities firm who takes him under their wing and offers him quick and seamless secure opportunities.
Tuner has its official world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on August 30, 2025. The film is also a part of the official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival, as well as the BFI London Film Festival for 2026.
The first feature film from Grammy Award-winning director Daniel Rohr, he joined forces with Robert Ramsey for the screenplay. It stars Leo Woodall, Havana Rose Liu, Lior Raz, Tovah Feldshuh, Jean Reno and Dustin Hoffman.
All set for its Indian premiere on May 29, Tuner promises an entertaining plot, enhanced by its music-driven narrative and storytelling for fans of Leo Woodall.
Meanwhile, Woodall was last seen playing the title character in the Netflix production Vladimir alongside Rachel Weisz. His other projects include Citadel, One Day and The White Lotus. The actor’s film credits include Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy and Nuremberg, with Tony and the Nomad expected to be released soon.
