The new press secretary of Donald Trump on Tuesday invited tickets and podcasters to apply for the White House Pass Pass, attempting to reach beyond the mainstream media that the US presidents often slam. For the first time at the White House Podium, Karolin Levit stated that an additional seat for “New Media Voice” was reserved in front of the tight briefing room.
Trump has repeatedly criticized the traditional media as the “enemy of the people”, and he credits a series of podcast appearances for his return to the White House.
“As the youngest press secretary in history, 27 -year -old Lewitt told a pack briefing room, thanks to President Trump, I am very proud to open this room for the sounds of new media.”
“Whether you are a tickery content manufacturer, a blogger, a podcaster, if you are producing legitimate news material … then you will be allowed to apply for press credentials in this White House,” he said.
The shake-up was more modest that some news organizations were afraid, the President’s son Donald Trump Jr. spoke about “opening” the press room in November.
The room is allocated to several news organizations including 49 seats in the room, which are members of the White House Correspondents Association.
Reports without seats are allowed to stand on the side when they are in place-as they made a pack-out debut of Levit on Tuesday.
The new press secretary also vowed to keep accountable reporters for what he had said about Trump for “lies”.
He said, “We know for a fact that in this country many heritage media outlets in this country about this President, about his family, and we will not accept it.”
The first of the bribing levit at the prestigious White House Podium was inaugurated by Trump eight days ago. He has so far spoken to conservative television outlets including large -scale Fox News.
Trump sidelined interviews with some major American TV networks during the election campaign, instead to talk to many large -scale right -wing podcasts, including the highly popular that includes the extremely popular that experiences.
