Trump: Can go to Pakistan if agreement is reached with Iran

US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump on Thursday said he can go if there is an agreement to end the war with Iran and it is signed in Islamabad and Iran has agreed to almost everything.Speaking to reporters, Trump took an optimistic stance about Iran. He said he could extend the US-Iran ceasefire set to expire next week, but would not be required to do so. Praising Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Asim Munir, Trump said, “If any agreement is signed in Islamabad, I can go.” “They’ve been great.” This will be the first visit by a sitting US President to Pakistan since George W Bush in March 2006.Trump also said, without providing evidence, that Iran had agreed to give up enriched uranium buried by US-Israeli air strikes last year. Trump is pushing for a deal in which Tehran would give up its N-program. He said the deal would also include “free oil” and opening the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran has not publicly confirmed that it has made these concessions. This is a Reuters story
