True North, Krishnan Ramachandran Niva Bupa sells 10% stake in health for 1,507 crore

Private equity firm True North and Niva Bupa Health Insurance Chief Krishnan Ramchandra was a combined 10 per cent stake in the health insurer by open market transactions for Rs 1,507 crore.

According to Bulk Deal data on BSE, Niva Bupa Health Insurance has sold a total of 17.29 crore shares or 9.46 % stake in Niva Bupa Health Insurance.

In addition, Niva Bupa Health Insurance MD and CEO Ramchandra Loaded 10 million shares, which presented 0.55 % stake in Niva Bupa Health Insurance in Gurugram.

These shares are Rs. Were sold at a price of 82.11-82.76, the combined transaction value was Rs. 1,507.50 crores were taken.

After the transaction, shareholding of fatal tones in Niva Bupa dropped from 17.47 percent to 8.01 percent.

Meanwhile, DSP Mutual Fund received more than 9.96 crore shares in four branches or 2.72 per cent in Niva Bupa Health Insurance, and SBI Mutual Fund took 1.51 crore shares or 0.83 per cent stake in health insurer.

The average of Rs. Was purchased at a price of 82, with the overall deal value of Rs. 531.49 crore was made.
