The trailer of the upcoming film, Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hridayam) was launched at Krishna Janmabhoomi, Mathura. The unveiling extends to major holy sites including Raman Reti Temple, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON Vrindavan.

Launch at holy places
The trailer of the film was unveiled at several holy places including Raman Reti Temple, Radha Rani Temple, Prem Mandir and ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) Vrindavan, turning the launch into a multi-venue devotional movement.

The trailer shows Lord Krishna’s love story with Radha in Vrindavan, his marriage to Princess Rukmani (an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi) and his reign as the king of Dwarka.
Krishnavatram 1 is about the duty of Krishna
The first installment of the film series depicts the challenges faced by Lord Krishna while performing his duties. Krishnavatram Part 1: Heart (hridayam) depicts a person’s journey beyond becoming immortal. At the end of the trailer of the film, Lord Krishna vows to defeat the Kauravas.
The makers have described the film as a heartfelt offering, made with the intention of delivering not just a large scale, but a deeply emotional and spiritual cinematic experience that will resonate with devotees around the world.
Krishnavatram 1: Cast and Crew
Krishnavatram Part 1: Heart (Hridayam) Siddharth Gupta stars as Lord Krishna, Sushmita Bhatt as Radha, Sanskriti Jayana as Satyabhama and Nivasini Krishnan as Rukmini. The film is directed by Hardik Gajjar and co-written by Prakash Kapadia and Ram Mori. It is presented and produced by Sajan Raj Kurup and Shobha Sant of Creative Land Studios, along with Poonam Shroff and Parth Gajjar of Athasrikatha Motion Pictures.
The upcoming film has music by Prasad S and lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Ayananka Bose, Chokkas Bhardwaj and Nidhi Yasha are credited for cinematography, production design and costumes respectively. Krishnavatram Part 1: Heart (Hridayam) It is distributed globally by AA Films with music released by Saregama.
The first chapter of the three-part cinematic franchise is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on May 7, 2026.
