What is in it?
The man behind this viral inhaler is Terapong Rabutum, aka “Keng”. He is the founder and owner of Hong Thai Inhaler who has now found his way in the worldwide bags and pockets in India.
According to a local Thai press, by 2022, his business had increased to about 14 million USD. Keeping the inhaler in mind, Thailand has been retailed for just Rs 60-70, which has been sold millions of bottles. Today, however, various companies are selling this viral inhaler at a very high price.
Near Wat Sara Kava in Keng Thoneburi, grew up in the Talat flu area of Bangkok. He was one of the six children in a struggling family, his father was a taxi driver, his mother managed the house, and was tight instead of living. His journey with the inhaler began (20 years ago) when he came in front of a recipe in a newspaper, which he adapted to his formula. They started selling it at nearby petrol stations. After years of testing, the current version was born, while tying the recipe based on error, and customer response.
Major ingredients include:
- Menthol (provides a cooling sensation, cleanses the nose path, and gives “wake-up” effect)
- Camphor
- Eucalyptus
- Borneol
These elements can slightly stimulate the nervous system, which helps you feel more alert. Although it is not a chemically addictive addiction, it can easily become a psychological crutch, especially during the period of travel, work, or stress.
Therefore, while this green bottle can feel like a magical pick-me-up when you are feeling less, if you find yourself reaching every other hour, you can just be slightly bent.
BTW, it is also available on e-commerce websites like Amazon (we are not sure about its authenticity, ThO).
