Tom Cruise Mission Impossible Final Rekning Eyes Record Advance Booking in India
‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Recking’ is ready to break its previous advance booking records in India. The Tom Cruise film is already selling tickets like Hotkake at the box office.

‘Mission Impossible-The Final Rekning’ is releasing in India six days before its US release. Tom Cruise returns to play his most prestigious role in the film – the wicked IMF (Impossible Mission Force) agent named Ethan Hunt. The film’s advance booking in India began on 9 May, and until 10 pm on Tuesday, it sold about 38,500 tickets for the top three national series – PVR, Inox and Cinepolis, reported the film’s team in a press release.
Christopher McActive-Directorial started its pre-sales business on a strong note in India by selling more than 11,000 tickets within 24 hours. The data for the initial weekend at the Indian box office has been calculated.
‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise enjoys a separate fan base in India, and is the same Tom Cruise. So much so that his last ‘MI’ film – ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Rekning Part One’ (2023) – became the first cruise -starrer to cross a benchmark of Rs 100 crore in India. ‘Mi 7’ collected a network of about Rs 103 crore in India, and now, ‘Mi 8’ is expected to cross that record.
On its release in July 2023, ‘Mission: Impossible-Did Rekning Part One’ was opened in a smashing in a net of Rs 12.3 crore. Unlike the new film, it enjoyed an extended weekend release, which would only have a two -day window to get more numbers during its early weekends.

The release shared by the film’s team also suggested that “spy-thriller, set to release in India on May 17, 2025, is trending on major ticketing platforms, a strong demand with the show at the beginning of 6 pm.”
Action -packed film, including Hele Atwell, Wing Rums, Simon Peg and Angela Baset, among others, will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in 4DX and IMAX.
