Apple is allegedly working on the next version of its iPad Pro, is expected to be launched at the end of 2025, and this time, the largest talkings may be a front-facing camera, or says, double-affected cameras. As Mark Gurman of BloombergApple planned to add a second front camera to the upcoming M5 iPad Pro, allowing users a better experience, whether they catch the device. The move came after some criticism from last year’s M4 iPad Pro, where Apple transferred the front camera to a landscape age. While many users appreciated the change for video calls when using the keyboard, others found it less ideal for the use of portraits. The new dual-camera layout is the method of apple to solve both problems at a time.

The idea is simple – a camera stays on the landscape side for video calls when the iPad is docked or used in landscape mode, and the new camera will then sit on the portrait side when users hold the tablet vertically. This also means that face ID will possibly work more smoothly in both orientations, especially for those who regularly switch the iPad Pro as a laptop and as a tablet.

In addition to the camera change, the M5 iPad Pro is not expected to bring major upgrades on the M4 iPad Pro, as the final generation model was a huge upgrade on the M3 version. So, the design of the M5 iPad Pro will probably be the same with 11 inch and 13-inch OLED, which supports the promotional technique for a smooth 10–120Hz fresh rate. Storage options will run up to 2TB, and users can expect a normal USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support. The rear camera should also remain unchanged, with a single camera sensor-perhaps with a 12-megapixel lens-a lidar sensor and an LED flash.

If you have not yet estimated under the hood, the new iPad Pro will be powered by Apple’s upcoming M5 chipset, which should improve better battery life and performance on the M4 chip, especially when using multitasking or pro apps.
