Ramayan producer Namit Malhotra praised Ranbir Kapoor and called him the best actor of our generation. He also supported his role as Lord Ram in Ramayana.
Namit Malhotra, producer of the upcoming film RamayanaHas described actor Ranbir Kapoor as the best actor of our generation. Malhotra expressed his admiration for Kapoor as he was named among Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2026. He believes there is no one better than him to portray Lord Ram in the epic two-part film.

In his X post, Malhotra wrote, “From watching our fathers eat and laugh together to now, four decades later, coming together to tell one of the greatest epics of all time, it has been quite a journey.”
He further said that he never had any doubts in his mind about Ranbir’s casting. He said, “There is no one better than him to play the character of Lord Ram. You are undoubtedly the finest actor of our generation.”
