The Men in Black set was cleaned for 3 hours. Reason? will smith’s fart

Hollywood star Will Smith holds a lot of influence. One of them is to make people vacate the set for three long hours. At least that’s what Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld claimed in a recent interview. The filmmaker shared that the film set of Men in Black had to be evacuated for not one, not two, but three hours after Smith farted.
Speaking on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast, the MIB director shared that the incident occurred when Smith and his co-star Tommy Lee Jones were sealed in a pod for a car sequence. “It has locks to keep it from opening and falling out. I say, ‘Turn the camera.’ And I heard Will Smith say, ‘Oh Jesus, I’m so sorry. Tommy, very sorry. Falcon, get the ladder.’ And you hear Tommy say, ‘It’s okay, Will. No worries, Will. Don’t worry, Will.’ Anyway, I don’t know what’s going on, okay?” Sonnenfeld said.
“We evacuated the stage for about three hours. And it’s incredible. No, you know, he’s a sweet guy. That’s it, he farts. Some do, some don’t,” said the director.
Sonnenfeld continued to reveal specific details about the amusing incident, saying, “So (yes), we run over the stairs. Yes, as the stairs are coming up, Tommy sticks his foot out, down the stairs. “And what happened was, it’s just some people. And you don’t really want to be inside a very small sealed space,” he said lightly. Concluded in style.
Men in Black stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones and was released in 1997. The film collected $584 million globally and was declared the third highest-grossing film of that year, helping Smith achieve global superstar status.
