HBO has officially confirmed that the final of the US season 3 is scheduled to release in 2027. This update comes from HBO CEO KC Bloques, who spoke diverse about the future of the show. “The series is certainly planned for 2027,” Bloise said. This means that fans are waiting for at least two years, and possibly close to three, before coming to HBO Max before the next chapter.
This long difference is the same between season 1 and season 2, which took about two and a half years. The season 2 premiered in 2025, season 3 cannot come until the end of 2027.
Craig Magin is still finalizing the plan: a season or two?
Shorner Craig Magin is currently deciding whether the story has to be finished in an extended season or divide it into two. “Craig is still working whether it will be two more weather or another tall season,” Bloques said. “It hasn’t been decided yet, and I am following the leadership of Craig on it.”
