A week ago, Samsung announced that the Galaxy S25 series pre-order in South Korea set a new record, with a 10%increase with the S24 series pre-order. Now the company has announced pre-order numbers for India and has improved even more-the S25 series pre-order is 20% more than the previous year.
Samsung India reported more than 430,000 pre-order for Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. There is no word on partition between individual models, but if it is like South Korea, ultra makes the wholesale of pre-order.
For reference, last year Samsung reported a record-breaking pre-order from India with 250,000 in just three days. The initial was more pre-order after INRUSH, of course. Nevertheless, the earlier ordered this year had a total of 20% more than the previous year’s pre-ordereds.
Samsung is catering in the local market – the Galaxy S25 phones sold in India are locally manufactured in the Noida factory. In addition, Mithun was available with Hindi support at Live Launch. The company also expanded the network of shops that sell their phones to reach small cities.

We have seen a strong demand for the Galaxy S25 series among young technology-loving consumers, which are at the forefront of the Galaxy AI use. This year, we widen our major distribution network to 17,000 outlets, which has helped us tap demand in small cities, ” Raju Pulun, Senior Vice President, MX Division, Samsung India said.
