Tecno is on a roll – after unveiling the Camon 40 series and AI Smart Glasses, the company now turns its attention to the laptop. Meet the new Tecno Megabook S14, an ultra-portable 14 ”laptop that weighs only 899G (1.98LBS).
This is not the only interesting fact about S14-a version of it operated by Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100). It is a 12-core chip (with a custom Qualcomm CPU design) that runs up to 3.4GHz with several core or up to 4.0GHz with two core active. Adreno provides up to 3.8 tflops of GPU performance, while hexagon NPU AI can go up to 45 tops for tasks (more in a bit on it).

If you prefer to stick to the X86, the megabuk S14 5 and 7 series (255h, 225h, 155h and 125h) is also available with first and second generation Intel core Ultra Chips. Laptops come with LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD (NVME, PCIE GEN 4). Whether you choose Arm or X86, laptop runs Windows 11.
The laptop is equipped with 14 “OLED display, with 2,800 x 1,600px resolution at 120Hz.
S14 313 x 214 x 14.2 mm measures and weighs 899G as described above. It is accompanied by 50Wh battery, which charges up to 65W (19V/3.42A) on USB-C. Tecno promises life up to 16 hours on a charge. Some other things to mention include Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and a fingerprint reader for safe unlock.
Here is something else that is interesting about the megabook S14 – Tecno will offer an external graphics doc with a “powerful Nvidia graphics card”, which will accelerate gaming and material manufacturing work, but we all know for now (no GPU model, not even generations).

Tecno also created its first AI model to run on-devices. Additionally, Ella AI can discover auxiliary image, automatically create albums, transfer a recorded meeting (offline, of course) and even help you create powerpoints.
