The Bengaluru performance of British singer Ed Sheeran on Church Street was stopped by the police as it was being held without prior permission.

The Bengaluru police on Sunday stopped the live performance of singer Ed Sheeran on Church Street. While his team insisted that the Act was brief and the former was allowed, the authorities denied it. Police said permission was requested but not provided.
In the said clip, Ed began his performance with enthusiasm, singing his chartbuster shape. However, hardly one minute in the performance, the police disconnected the steps and cables as Ed sees them.

Dear British singers are currently visiting India as a part of his concert series. He has already performed in Hyderabad and Chennai. During his Chennai event, he joined the stage by mythological composer AR Rahman as the two rendered a classic Urvashi song.
Next to the concert, Ed Sheeran met R Rahman and his son R Amin. Rahman shared pictures of his meeting on Instagram. One picture showed him sitting on a couch, while the other grabbed Rahman on his music console because Sheeran took a picture. “Photos by Ed Sheeran,” Rahman wrote in the caption.
