On the fifth day of Scene “Didi” Comombs’ high-profile sex trafficking trial, the gamblers were presented with intimate lessons between Comombs and singer Casendra “Kaisi” Ventura. The messages presented by the defense during their 11-year on-off relationships were emotionally charged between the two and gave a glimpse in the complex dynamic-especially around the time when Ventura says she was trying to leave her.
A remarkable message from 2018, the year of his final breakup, showed the Comombs, arguing with Ventura: “Can I not get a chance to make things right? I haven’t taken care of you?” To whom Kisi replied, “You physically took care of me, not where I needed it. I needed to love you and put me first.”
Amidst the allegations of Ventura, there are messages that Combs raped her in 2018 – an allegation first made public in a 2023 civil lawsuit that was increasingly settled for $ 20 million. Although Combes did not commit any crime, the case started further investigation, including federal raids on their homes and several additional allegations from other alleged victims.

Despite their painful history, messages revealed that the pair continued to express the affection post-breakup. What was recited once, “I don’t hate you. I have never had,” and Comombs called her “ride or dye allways” and one of the “world’s greatest women”.
Kaisi’s cross-execution on Friday shut down a stressful week of testimony and emotional revelation. As the courtroom sorts through the entangled layers of love, manipulation, and perceived abuse, the messages between how and Didi remain a focal point – humanizing both sides, underlining the blurred lines in their controversial and depth investigation. The trial continues, in which serious allegations including sex trafficking and racketering are facing.
