Director H. Vinod is all set to direct Thalapathy Vijay’s alleged last film which is tentatively being called Thalapathy 69. Recently, at the trailer launch event of the film Nanda, the director was seen talking about what he considers a good film.
In a video shared by Thi Cinema, H Vinoth said, “According to me, a good movie is not one that is made on a big budget, has a big hero, or even one that is a huge box office success. But a good movie is one that transforms a person into a better human being.” (Translated from Tamil)
The director’s words come after an update about Thalapathy Vijay’s last film. The makers of the tentatively titled Thalapathy 69 have shared a promo video on September 13, 2024, celebrating the life and legacy of the superstar, who is all set to begin shooting for his alleged last film.
In the updated promo released by the makers, many fans of the superstar were seen expressing their love for the actor. The emotional video was indeed a hair-raising tribute to the actor and his fans.

The actor who has already announced his decision to pursue a political career is now going to work in films, which will mark the possible end of his cinematic career. The director himself had earlier confirmed directing the project during an awards ceremony.
Furthermore, he also added that the film will be a completely commercial one that will be suitable for all age groups and will aim to be a celebratory affair of sorts. Now, the makers are set to make an official announcement of the film soon, while speculations about the casting are still rife.
Talking about the superstar’s workfront, Thalapathy Vijay was recently seen in the film The Greatest of All Time aka The Goat. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film was an action film that depicted the story of an anti-terrorism squad leader who comes in contact with his long-lost son, whom he presumes to be dead.
However, things take a turn when an old adversary plans revenge on the agent, using his own relatives as weapons.
