Thalaivan Thalavi is a romantic actioner starring Vijay Sethupati and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The film originally arrives on a large screen on 25 July 2025, and now the OTT platform is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

What is the story of Thalaivan Thalavi?

Thalaivan Thalaivi told the story of Egaseweran (played by Vijay Sethupathi), the owner of a roadside restaurant. He joins Perarasi after meeting him through a traditional matchmaking process. The couple, united with their shared love for food, are ready to fulfill a married life.

However, despite being in love with the couple, Pararsi (Nithya Menen )’s parents and brother are hesitant about the match due to lack of formal education of Agaseveran and their family’s past participation in the miscreants.

On the eve of Diwali, Azeveran visited Perarasi’s house to inquire about marriage. Despite his family resistance and his brother’s henchman attack, Aamseevaran took Pararasi with him and married him in his family’s presence. As a result, Pararasi’s family displaced him, but months later, they forgive him, and the families harmed him.

Three months in their wedding, pararasi starts to tie up with his in -laws. Aagasaveraran’s father, Sembayya, symbolized him to sit at the cash counter of his restaurant once organized for his wife. This deeply damages the mother -in -law of Pararasi.

As the business spreads in a full hotel, it has been renamed as “Pararasi Hotel”, which envies the sister of Ragavartini, Egaseweran.

In vengeance, she captures the cash counter, serving pararasi as a vetress and performs table-clean duties. Despite this, Pararasi continues to work hard for Ajeveran.

Meanwhile, Pararasi’s mother, Avram, starts manipulating her daughter, assuring that a separate house will bring true happiness. It makes the argument between the couple constantly, and Pararasi often returns to his parents’ homes.

Each time, Agasweran begs to return with him, and Pararasi forgives him, believing his mother and sister convicted. Over time, Pararasi became pregnant.

However, as the tension increased due to family intervention and emotional stress, Ajeveran and Pararasi finally decide to separate, thinking that it would be best for everyone.

What happens to Aagasaveran and PERARASI relationship?

During the main ceremony of his daughter Magizini, in the temple of his local deity, by coincidence, Aagasaveeran also ends.

It was soon discovered that Pararasi’s father, Arasangam (Kemban Vinod Jose), had secretly arranged for Agasavern to attend the common tonsting ceremony. In a shocking turn of events, he slaps his wife to brainwash Pararasi against his in -laws.

With the dissolution of enmity, the ceremony turns into a joyful family festival.

However, the film ends with a humorous turn; Despite the harmony, Ajeveran and Pararasi fight again and divorce. But their complex love is true for the story, they meet again the next day, continue their cycle of daily squalls.
