In Thailand, a father allegedly left his newborn in a remote field, as he reported to his wife to refuse to have sex immediately after the birth of a child, drug addiction, South China Morning Post Informed
According to Thailand, the 21 -year -old Thai man, who has been identified by his surname Wuttichi, has been arrested and his two -week son is facing drug related allegations after a disturbed incident on 22 March, his wife, 22 -year -old Orathai. Channel 7 News,
The incident came to light when Wuttichi took his newborn to a nearby banana grove, he photographed the child lying alone on the ground, and sent an image to the Orathai to meet a friend at that time. The implication was that he had left his child.
Fearful of the message, Orathai immediately approached the village head and publicly shared the screenshot of her conversation to call her husband’s behavior online. Fortunately, Wuttichi later brought the child into the house.
The police started an investigation and detected the family in Burriram province in Northeast Thailand. During interrogation, Orathai told the officials that her husband was addicted to drugs, often gambling, and had a history of violent behavior towards her and her one -year -old child.
The couple were allegedly arguing as Orathai refused to have sex with them soon after giving birth. Wuttichi denied the allegations, claiming that the child had no intention of leaving and placed his sleeping son on the ground to take a photo. He also accepted to request sex with his wife repeatedly, but insisted that “it did not mean that.”
Following his wife’s claims, the police conducted a urine test, which returned positively for the use of drugs. Wuttichai now face allegations and will have to undergo rehabilitation as compulsory by law.
Under the Thai law, leaving a child under the age of nine years-if it is not fined for three years in the horm-can and a fine of 6,000 baht (about US $ 180).
The case has expressed displeasure online. A commentator wrote, “Physical violence, misuse of drugs, gambling, and demanding sex 12 days after the child’s birth. I am speechless.”
“Shame on him. How can a father do this with his wife and a newborn baby?” Said another.
A third comment made, “Why is a child with drug addicts? I regret the baby.”
