Remove all emails with ‘unsabscreeb’ tag

To remove all marketing emails from your Gmail, follow these steps:

• Open Gmail in a web browser and click onbox.
• In the search bar, type ‘unsabsive’ and press the enter.
• This will show you all the marketing emails that have one subscription finished option. In particular, companies need to legally provide a subscription finished option.
• To remove all these emails simultaneously, click on the small checkbox on the top-left corner, just above the list of email and to the left of the refresh button. This will select all the emails that appear on the first page.
• You can also click on ‘Select all’. A blue notification says that ‘select all conversations matching this discovery’.
• Once all the emails are selected, click on the garbage can icon at the top of the screen. This will take all the selected emails to the garbage folder.

How to remove email from a specific sender or time period

You can also remove email from a specific sender or within a certain time frame. To do this:

Log in Gmail and type a search query in the search bar. For example:

• To remove email from a specific sender: Synger_mail_address
• To remove email sent to a specific address: to: sender_mail_address
• To remove email from a specific time period: Later: 2023–11-01 (replace the date with your desired start date).
• You can add these questions, eg, Synger_mail_address or to: Sender_Email_address or then: 2023-11-01.
• To select all the emails that match your search query, click on the checkbox at the top-left corner.
• Click on the garbage can icon to remove the selected email.

How to recover removed emails

The removed emails are taken to the garbage folder, where they live up to 30 days before being removed permanently. If you accidentally remove a significant email, you can recover it from the garbage folder within the 30-day window.
