In a recent conversation with the Indian Express, Hansal Mehta talked about his career, his experiences and everything in the middle. This is when he also opened a long post after watching the Tapasi Pannu’s drama film, slap. Asked why he finished his blog by calling his ex -wife and other women sorry in her life, Chhaang Helmer said that this is the power of good cinema.
He further admitted that the film thought him, introspected, and said things that he would not have expressed otherwise. The director said, “I would never have been sorry for my ex -wife, but I was there. The film was very powerful and these good films do for you.”
However, in the conversation, the director-writer-producer said that he does not remember to write a blog mentioned because my writing is all streams of consciousness. “So, I don’t edit it, look back to what I have written. So, many often go with grammatical errors,” Mehta accepted.
Well, we managed to take out the blog, in which the filmmaker said that he urged fans to see the slap. It was on the leg of the post he said, “For all women of my life. My wife, my mother, my sister, my daughters, my ex -wife, my girlfriend and all those who are subject to my social conditioning.” (SIC)
In the blog, he further said, “I know it’s late. But ever better late. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry, if I have stopped my development feeling my development. Sorry, forgive, forgive, forgive, if I have made my patriarchal conditioning insensitive to my needs. Forgiveness, forgiveness, if I am trying to change a donkey.
