Tanisha also revealed that she deliberately stayed away from speaking on many matters to avoid unnecessary controversies related to her family. He said that despite taking precautions, his loved ones still become targets of criticism.

Reflecting on what happened during the show, the actress revealed that she later realized how the contestants had used her family names to attract attention.

She said, “Until I came out of the house, I had no idea that people were using my name, my sister’s (Kajol’s) name, my brother-in-law’s (Ajay Devgan’s) name just to get screen time. That was my naivete. Today, I will never put myself in a position where anyone feels that because of me they have the right to say anything about my family.”

The actor further admitted that the reality show changed his outlook towards people and public life. He said, “That experience definitely made me more cautious because people really went after my family. Even the channel harassed me at times.”

Tanisha also remembered that she was upset when she was questioned as to why her family did not come inside the house to meet her. She said that people often question her absence, but she believes it is unfair to expect her family members to appear on the show without compensation, especially since everyone involved in the reality series is being paid. The actress said that her family members are big celebrities and if they had been approached in a professional manner then they would have definitely come.

When asked if the show had been traumatic for her, Tanishaa admitted that it was. He likes reality shows Bigg Boss Survivors of trauma and even friendships formed there are often “trauma bonds.”

According to the actor, once people recover from that experience, they realize that many of those friendships are no longer the same, as certain behaviors and interactions no longer feel meaningful.
