Tabu recalls old dance class days with Akshay Kumar: He picked me up on the bike

During Bhoot Bangla promotions, Akshay Kumar and Tabu talked about their long-standing relationship. From riding bikes together to their unchanged habits, they shared memories of their early days.

Akshay Kumar and Tabu revisit their decades-old friendship during the promotion of their upcoming film ghost bangla. He recalled their early days when Akshay used to take Tabu on his bike for dance classes.

Speaking at the trailer launchThe actors opened up about their decades-long friendship and revealed that they have known each other for almost 39 years.

Talking about their visit, Akshay said, “I would like to tell you all something about Tabu and me. I have known Tabu for 39 years. We used to go to dance academy together to learn dance,” recalling how their association started when they were young.

Reminiscing about old memories, Tabu said, “He used to take me on the bike.”

When asked if Akshay has changed over the years, Tabu said that his habits are largely the same. “He’s the same; he still wakes up at 4 a.m. and insists on going jogging at 5 a.m. He still says, ‘Don’t eat this or that.’ That hasn’t changed at all,” he said, highlighting his disciplined lifestyle.

Both the actors were seen together for the first time You are a thief and I am a soldier. (1996) and later collaborated Foul play (2000), directed by Priyadarshan.

with ghost banglaHe was seen on screen again after a gap of 26 years. Tabu also mentioned that despite working with Priyadarshan in several films, the filmmaker has remained unchanged over the years.

To be released in theaters on 16th April Bhoot Bangla marks another collaboration Between Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, who last worked together sour sweet (2010).

The film features a strong cast including Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Vamika Gabbi and the late Asrani.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, the film is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor.
