Actress Sushmita Sen, on the occasion of National Doctors Day on July 1, expressed her gratitude to the doctors who saved her life when she suffered a heart attack while shooting for her web series Aarya on February 27, 2023. This was the day Sushmita felt “her story was over”.

In a video shared on Instagram, Sushmita recalled this horrifying experience and said, “My life is a story that I have played and lived. Some time ago, the story of my life took a major turn – when I suffered a massive heart attack. Those were the longest 45 minutes of my life. There was a moment when I felt that my story was over.”

“But thanks to my doctors, because they are the reason my story continues. They didn’t let me give up and give in. They wrote a new story of my life and gave me a new direction. That was my second birthday. I dedicate that day and my story to all the doctors,” she said, getting emotional.

The video featured family photos with his daughters Alisah and Renee, and his father Shubir Sen, showcasing his journey of recovery.

Ending her heartfelt message, the Main Hoon Na actress revealed that February 27, 2023 is now her second birthday, which is dedicated to the doctors who saved her life. “Today is a day of gratitude.
