Actress Shriya recently confirmed her participation in a special song in Suriya 44, a gangster drama directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Speaking about his role at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, he revealed, “I did a song in Suriya sir’s film. It was great shooting this. I think the song is coming in December.

Shot on a specially constructed set in Goa, the song promises to be a spectacular spectacle, highlighting Shriya’s beauty and energy. This dance number, which also stars Suriya, is expected to be one of the standout moments of the film.

Shriya also talked about her upcoming pan-India project, saying, “I am working on an upcoming pan-India project, and the shooting will start in three days.” However, he refrained from giving further details about the project.

The makers of Surya 44 recently completed the filming, with post-production currently underway. The film also stars Pooja Hegde and has a stellar supporting cast including Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran. Set for a grand release on April 10, 2025, the film has music by Santhosh Narayanan and editing by Shafiq Mohammed Ali. It is co-produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films.
