Director and producer Subhash Ghai has announced the sequel of his film Aitraaz, which he bankrolled. The film was directed by Abbas-Mustan. The original starred Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Amrish Puri, among others, in pivotal roles.

Ghai recently shared the exciting news via his social media handle along with a picture of Priyanka from the film. “bold and Beautiful

While she was very nervous about playing the role of a passionate ambitious woman, she played it with complete confidence. Now Mukta Arts is ready for Aitraaz 2 with a great script after 3 years of hard work. Just wait and see (sic),” read the full caption.

The cast details of the sequel are yet to be announced. Aitraaz was released in 2004.
