On the other hand, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. (down 2.41 percent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (1.76 percent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 1.5 percent), Granules India Ltd. (down 1.42 percent) and Biocon Ltd. (down 1.21 percent) ended as the day’s top losers.
The Nifty Pharma index closed up 0.13 percent at 21740.10.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index fell 168.6 points to close at 23349.9, while the BSE Sensex fell 422.59 points to 77155.79.
