The last rites of veteran Telugu actor Kota Srinivasa Rao were held in Hyderabad, where fans, famous celebrities and family collected to pay their final honors. However, a moment in the funeral has now gone viral. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli was seen pushing a fan who was trying to click on a selfie with him, harassing the director during the Sombre occasion.

Now in a viral video, Rajamouli is seen exiting Rao’s house with his wife Ram Rajamouli, when a fan suddenly contacts for a selfie. Despite the sensitive atmosphere, the fan continues to follow the filmmaker for his car. Rajamouli, visually irritated, pushes him to one side and makes a sharp gesture, like asking, “what?” His action produced a mixture of reactions on social media, in which many people supported him to stand against unfair behavior in mourning programs.

Rajamouli also shared an emotional message on X, in which the death of Kota Srinivasa Rao was called “irreparable loss”. He wrote, “Kota was deeply saddened to hear of Srinivasa Rao Garu’s passage. A master of his craft, a legend, who breathed life in every character. His presence on the screen was really irreparable. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Om Shanti (SIC).”

Kota Srinivasa Rao, who died On July 13, at the age of 83, he was known for his powerful performance and long contribution to Indian cinema. He was placed to rest in Hyderabad with full respect from industry and fans.
