Spotify Premium subscription available for Rs 59 for 3 months, but there’s a caveat
For a limited time, Spotify Premium subscription for three months is available for Rs 59. This is lower than the monthly subscription price of Rs 119 per month. However, this is for a limited time. Here’s all you need to know about it.
Spotify is offering a few offers on its Premium subscription plans in India, and all of them are worth noting. There are offers on the Individual, Student, Family, and Duo plans. The best offer is on the Individual Premium subscription plan, which usually costs Rs 119 per month. However, under a limited period offer, it is available for just Rs 59 for three months. After the three months are over, the subscription plan will again be priced at Rs 119 per month. In the Individual plan, users will get access to 1 Premium account, and they will be able to cancel the subscription at any time.
On the Family Premium plan, Spotify is offering the subscription for 2 months at Rs 179. After that, the subscription again drops to Rs 179 per month. This plan includes access to premium accounts for up to 6 accounts, the ability to control clearly marked content, and the option to cancel the subscription at any time. There is a similar offer for the Duo plan, where the subscription is available for 2 months at Rs 149, which drops back to Rs 149 per month after the initial two months are over. The Duo plan gives access to 2 premium accounts.
Under this offer, the Student Premium Account is available for 2 months for Rs 59. This is the same price as the Individual plan, but the validity of the Student plan is 2 months, while the Individual plan will be available for 3 months. But with the Student plan you get a verified Premium Account.
But here’s a warning…
The offers on Individual, Family, Student and Duo plans are valid only if you have not used Premium before. This means that if you already have a Premium account or if you had a Premium account before – no matter what plan you have – you are not eligible for the offer. Also, the offer on Individual plans is available only till August 25, 2024.
For the Student plan, this offer is only available to students at an “accredited higher education institution”. According to the Spotify Premium Student plan terms and conditions, Spotify “reserves the right to determine at our discretion whether you are an eligible student. Spotify will store your name, name of educational institution, email address, and date of birth”.
