South movies have once again arrived on various OTT streaming services, bringing some of the biggest releases that released recently in theaters to the small screen.
With various movies already streaming online, here is a list of OTT movies that you should watch now or watch in the next days.
South OTT releases to watch this week
1. Bagheera (Kannada)

Bagheera is a Kannada-language superhero film starring Sri Murali in the lead role, directed by Dr. Suri, based on a story by Prashanth Neel. The film is based on the life of Vedant Prabhakar, who once aspired to become a superhero but later decided to become a police officer like his father.
However, after a large group of gangsters are released from prison by higher authorities, the man decides to wear the mask and defeat them all under the name Bagheera. Appear corrupt as a police officer and deliver justice at night. The rest of the film focuses on how Bagheera pursues justice in his society and what trials he faces during it.
The film is also the first Kannada film to be streamed on Netflix and is the highest-grossing film in the industry in 2024.
2. Kishkindha Kaandam (Malayalam)

Kishkindha Kaandam, starring Asif Ali in the lead, is based on a monkey-infested village in the Kallepathy Reserve Forest, where a former army officer Appu Pillai and his forest officer son Ajay Chandran live.
After Ajay’s marriage, strange events start happening around them, prompting the newly married couple and the forest officials to embark on a mysterious tale that uncovers dormant secrets. Released in September, the film was well received by audiences and critics, becoming the highest-grossing film of Asif’s career.
3. KA (Telugu)

Ka, starring Kiran Abbavaram in the lead role, is a period-action thriller film directed by the duo Sujeeth and Sandeep. The film focuses on a postman named Abhinay Vasudev, who has a habit of reading other people’s letters.
One day, he wakes up in an interrogation room with no memory of how he got there. A mysterious interrogator attempts to extract secrets from him using hypnosis. The remainder of the fantasy thriller film revolves around the secrets hidden within him and what he has done coming to light.
4. Martin (Kannada)

Dhruv Sarja starrer Martin, directed by AP Arjun and written by Arjun Sarja, is available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film focuses on the story of Arjun Saxena, a naval officer who finds himself in a Pakistani prison.
After losing his memories due to a serious drug injection, the man must go on a journey to find himself while also trying to find out who Martin, a dreaded gangster, is.
5. Lucky Baskar (Telugu)

Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lucky Baskar is a crime thriller film directed by Venky Atluri. The film focuses on the story of Bashkhar, a middle-class banker who lives a quaint life with his wife and son.
Struggling from paycheck to paycheck to support his family and battling debt, the man becomes involved in the world of financial scams and tries to make a fortune from the activities. The film focuses on how the banker manages to reach the glory of fortune, and how it changes him and his life in the entire process. The film is all set to start streaming on Netflix from November 28, 2024.
