Oviya’s private video leaked
Recently, the private video of actress and Bigg Boss Tamil fame Oviya reportedly went viral on social media. Responding to the same, the actress posted a picture of herself on Instagram which points towards her leaked video. Additionally, she calmly responded to a comment asking him to share the longer version of the video. He replied, “Next time, brother.” Meanwhile, there is no confirmation regarding the authenticity of the video as some people have termed the leak as fake.
Vettaiyaan
One of the biggest Tamil releases of 2024, Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office in just 2 days. Although the film received mixed reviews, the multi-starrer has fared very well at the box office. Directed by TJ Gyanvel, the film also stars Manju Warrier, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and others. Apart from Vettaiyan, Dhruv Sarja’s Kannada film Martin also released on the big screens this week.

At a recent event, SS Rajamouli’s father and writer Vijayendra Prasad confirmed that the shooting of Mahesh Babu’s film SSMB29 will begin in January. In another video clip going viral on social media, the Baahubali writer is seen saying, “(Normally) it takes three to four weeks to make a story, but for Mahesh Babu, it took two years.” Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is working on his physical transformation for the film. His look with long hair and a fully grown beard has made film lovers curious to know more about the film.
Controversy over divorce remarks of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya
Nagarjuna Akkineni recently recorded his statement in the defamation case against Telangana Cabinet Minister Konda Surekha. Naga Chaitanya and Amala Akkineni were also with him in the court. Konda Surekha landed into trouble when she alleged that Bharat Raksha Samiti (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao (KTR) was behind the divorce of Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. Many actors like Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Naga Chaitanya, Vijay Deverakonda, SS Rajamouli and others criticized Konda Surekha for making personal comments in public.
