Now, Sinha shared a selfie of her 5th month (versary) from her 4th honeymoon in Italy.
Sonakshi Sinha recently shared an adorable selfie with her husband Zaheer Iqbal from their Italy vacation on Instagram Stories. Both were seen wearing warm, comfortable clothes. Sonakshi and Zaheer recently tied the knot after getting their marriage officially registered. After a seven-year long relationship, the intimate ceremony took place at Zaheer’s Bandra residence. The couple took seven rounds on June 23, 2024.
In a recent interview, both Sonakshi and Zaheer shared that they initially had different ideas for their marriage. While Sonakshi had envisioned a small, intimate ceremony, Zaheer had dreams of eloping abroad and then returning to India.
Recalling her simple wedding, Sonakshi revealed that it was exactly how she had expected. They emphasized that their goal was to make their special day a true reflection of who they are. From sending out invitations to hosting the post-wedding party, the couple wanted everything to be casual and fun.
“We didn’t want a traditional, over-the-top ceremony. We were determined to make our wedding a big celebration. And it was exactly that – a day full of happiness, only with people who really care about us,” he told Bombay Times.
Sonakshi also shared that, having done many photoshoots in bridal attire before, she wanted to look different on her wedding day. She always loved simplicity, so she chose a red saree, which her sister-in-law had found for her. This saree became her wedding dress.
During the conversation, Sonakshi was asked about the moment when she screamed with excitement during her marriage registration. She admitted that the couple had been eagerly waiting for this moment for a long time and when it finally happened, she couldn’t stop herself from expressing her happiness.
On the professional front, Sonakshi was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi and the film Kakuda. She will soon be seen in Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness, which is currently in post-production.
