Sonakshi Sinha is on her second honeymoon with Zaheer Iqbal. The two, who tied the knot on June 23, have gone to the Philippines for their second vacation as husband and wife. However, both Sonakshi and Zaheer had to take separate flights, as Sonakshi revealed on her Instagram story.

Sonakshi and Zaheer are surrounded by nature in their “Honeymoon Round 2”. The ‘Heeramandi’ actor shared a glimpse of his beautiful resort which has an in-house pool amid lush greenery.

While sharing the photo, the actress told that she was waiting for Zaheer as they had to take two different flights.

Sonakshi and Zaheer got married on June 23 at Sonakshi’s apartment in Bandra, seven years after they met on the same day. The couple had a civil wedding followed by a grand reception at Bastian in Mumbai.

Later, the couple shared pictures from their legal wedding as they formalised their union. Sharing a joint statement, they wrote, “On this day, seven years ago (23.06.2017) we saw love in its purest form in each other’s eyes and decided to hold on. Today that love has carried us through all the challenges and victories to this moment where with the blessings of both our families and both our Gods we are now husband and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all the beautiful things with each other, from now until forever (sic).”

Later that evening, the couple hosted a grand wedding reception for their industry friends at Bastian. It was attended by Salman Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, Rekha and others.
