Sonakshi Sinha had curfew up to 32, mother wanted her to not answer back
Actor Sonakshi Sinha recalled her strict curfew, a coward ways to dodge it, and how she challenged some parents’ rules. Now married Zaheer Iqbal, she went to a new house with her.
Like many Indian girls, actor Sonakshi Sinha did curfew at home. She was also taught by her mother that she should not respond back. While the actor followed some rules set by his parents, he combated others and even taught his mother some things about his generation.
In a recent conversation with Hatterfly, Sonakshi shared the anecdotes for her growing years and Life with her parents In his house, Ramayana. He said, “I had a curfew at 1:30 pm after working. As long as I was 32 years old, it was the same. Zaheer (Iqbal) had the biggest problem with it. Whenever I broke the curfew, it was only because of it, and then I used to take him to school for it.”
While Sonakshi lived on the tenth floor of her building, her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha lived on the fifth floor. Nevertheless, she was always updated when Sonakshi came home, thanks to the telephone operator of the building.
“I lived in a fort called Ramayana. I lived on the 10th floor, and my mother and father lived on the fifth floor. We had a very strict telephone operator Mr. Jha. The minute where my car entered the premises, he will call the fifth floor and inform them that ‘Baby has come’. One or two times, I remember that I am, my man, Friday and my driver tells the operator not to call your parents, “Sonakshi shared.
He continued, “When mother will start questioning me the next day, I would know that Jha did not call him, so I used to lie. This is the story of every house. They will start calling from midnight, asking, ‘Where are you?’ She scolded me, saying that it did not feel good.
Sonakshi shared that her mother was a hand. “In the context of conditioning, my mother tried to mold me to someone who does not respond back. They have grown even in that environment, so it comes naturally. As a mother, she tried to pass it. Now, time has changed, generations have changed, and there are many things that I teach him,” she said.
Sonakshi Sinha is now married to actor Zaheer IqbalHe has allegedly bought a large place in a building which Zaheer is developing and has decided to go with him to the new house, which has been decided to sell his current apartment.
