Microsoft has confirmed that Skype will be killed on May 5, and all existing customers will need to transfer their data to teams

Microsoft has planned to infection in serial teams in teams from Skype over the next three months. Says Microsoft, “By logging into teams with Skype account, chat and contacts will automatically appear in the app so that you can pick up quickly, where you are left.” “During the transition period, the team users can call and chat with Skype users and Skype user can also do the same with teams users”, it says.
During the infection in teams from Skype, users have two options. They can either transfer Microsoft teams with their existing Skype credentials and transfer it for free.
Once they sign in, all Skype chats and contacts will automatically move to teams, allowing users to lift their interactions correctly where they left. Alternatively, those who do not prefer to migrate users, they can export their Skype data, including chat, contact and call history.
In addition, users also have the option to use Skype with teams, which is till 5 May. To do this, simply download the app of teams and log in with existing Skype credentials, and prepare all their existing chats and contacts to use.
In particular, Microsoft is shutting off paid Skype services for new users, including Skype credit and calling subscriptions.
Existing customers can use their credit and plans to the end of their next renewal period while the remaining Skype credit will be available. In addition, Microsoft says that even after May 5, the paid users will still be able to use Skype dial pads through the Skype web portal or within the teams.
