After the blockbuster success of Kisikanda Kaandam during Onam 2024, Asif Ali returns to the screens with another festive release, Rakshastraam, which took the box office by storm. This mystery crime thriller directed by Jofin T Chacko is winning the hearts of the audience and registering a strong hold at the ticket window.
Rakshastram collected Rs 1.15 crore on the 7th day and crossed the Rs 15 crore mark
Anaswara Rajan, Manoj K. Co-starring Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Sai Kumar, Harishree Ashokan and Indrans, Rakshastram recorded a nominal decline the day after the Pongal festival. The film earned Rs 1.15 crore on the seventh day and crossed the Rs 15 crore mark at the Kerala box office.
The film successfully weathered the wave of Unni Mukundan’s Marco and surpassed the total collection of Identity in its home state. It will continue to captivate the audience for the next few weeks. However, Asif Ali’s film will have to face a new competitor this weekend: Soubin Shahir’s Praveenkudu Shappu, which arrives tomorrow. It will be interesting to see whether Asif Ali’s film can stand up to the new releases or not.
