Sivakarthikeyan is set to hit the larger screen with his action thriller Madharsi with Slated to release on 5 September 2025. During the film’s early-relief event, the actor responded to comments about ‘attracting fans of Thalapathi Vijay’, as superstars are retiring from acting.

Speaking in the Madharasi incident, Shivkartikeyan stressed that fans could not be persuaded to follow anyone else. The actor said that loyal fans are earned only through hard work for years.
The actor-producer said, “Many people are saying that I am trying to steal his (Thalapati Vijay) fans. No one can steal such followers, my friend.
“Even when Ajit sir dissolved his fan clubs years ago, fans did not bat an eye and still followed him. Kamal Sir, an artist in India, an artist, his fans are still standing with him because he is a true artist. Also, he is a superstar for 50 years because of his fans,” said SK.
Amarran actor said that like him, stars like Suriya, Vikram, Simbu and Dhanush enjoy their own dedicated fanbase.
Concluding his speech, Shivkarthikeyan said, “No one can overcome the fans of others. We have to earn fans through our hard work. Within our strength, within our strength, as an actor for 13 years, I managed to attract some people as my fans.”

In the film, Kanta Chapter 1 fame Rukmini Vasant has played the role of a representative as a female lead with Vidyartha Jammal. It also includes Biju Menon, Monisha Vijay, Vikrath, Shabir Kallarakkal and lead roles.
Directed by AR Murugados, the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichender as composer, which marks the third cooperation of the composer with the director after the catthi and the court.
Looking forward, Shivkartikeyan is currently filming for Period Drama, Parasakthi directed by Sudha Kongra. The upcoming film depicted Ravi Mohan as the main opposition, while Sreeleela and Atharvaa Murali play co-Leides.
