After a massive fire broke out at singer Udit Narayan’s building in Mumbai on Monday night, the singer assured fans of their safety. Narayan, who lives in Skypan Apartment in Shastri Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai, said he is fine.
Udit Narayan told India Today Digital that the incident took place on January 6 at 9:15 pm. He confirmed that he was safe and lived in the A wing, while the fire broke out in the B wing, resulting in the loss of one life. The building’s alarm went off and residents had to remain downstairs for four to five hours. The fire, which broke out around 9 pm, continued until midnight or early morning.
“It was a difficult night,” he said, adding that although the cause of the fire was still unknown, the situation was extremely worrying.
