Siddhant Chaturvedi recently shared a funny experience involving his Dhadak 2 co-star Tripti Dimri where he felt he was cheated. He revealed that Tripti convinced him to eat paneer momos and after that experience, he refused to eat paneer momos forever. He further added, “She has cheated me.” Yes, you read it right! His funny momo joke will surely make you laugh.
In an interview with News 18, Siddhant Chaturvedi hilariously shared a funny dining incident with his Dhadak 2 co-star Tripti Dimri. He jokingly advised fans not to try paneer momos, and revealed that even though Tripti is a rising star and a national crush, he felt cheated when he convinced her to try paneer momos.
Siddhanth recently recalled what went wrong with his experience of eating paneer momos, a dish he tried on the suggestion of his Dhadak 2 co-star Tripti Dimri. He recalled that during a dubbing session for the film’s announcement teaser at Dharma Productions, Tripti ordered momos – a favourite dish of both the actors. However, instead of the usual vegetarian or chicken momos, she insisted on paneer momos.
Reflecting on his reaction after tasting them, he jokingly expressed his disappointment, saying, “After eating it, I was like, ‘Bhai sahab, what is this? This can’t be.'” The Yudhra actor added, “I shared a post where I wrote that I will never judge that dish again and that means I have decided that I will never eat it again in my life.”
For those who don’t know, Siddhant Chaturvedi had earlier shared a light-hearted post after his momo eating experience with his Dhadak 2 co-star Tripti Dimri. He reposted the picture of plates of momos shared by Tripti and added a fun caption: “PS – Will never judge paneer momos again.”
Earlier, Karan Johar announced his upcoming film Dhadak 2 on Instagram. The film, produced by Johar, will star Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles, while Shazia Iqbal will direct the project. In his post, Karan shared a teaser video with a Hindi caption, hinting at a love story between people from two different castes, which brings their story to an end. The film promises to highlight the deep social divide based on class and status, depicting a love story that is tragically left incomplete. Co-produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cloud 9 Pictures, Dhadak 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on November 22, 2024.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Siddhant Chaturvedi’s next project is ‘Yudhra’, in which he will share the screen with Malavika Mohanan. The film, which will release in theatres on September 20, promises to be an action-packed entertainer.
