During a conversation with Cyrus Broacha on his YouTube channel, Rohit Roy talked about his fitness regime and the unrealistic diet he adopted to look slim in Shootout at Lokhandwala in 2007. Roy revealed going on a “really stupid diet” and admitted, “I would never do that again.” Elaborating about it, he said that since he had to look a certain way in action, he put himself through that torture and lost 16 kg in less than 25-26 days. “I did the water diet. But it was,” he said, adding that it was really intense.
Furthermore, Roy highlighted how risky it is as the diet can dangerously affect one’s organs. He further revealed hearing shocking stories about actors who tried similar diets, and how some of them in Hollywood actually “gave up”. Having said that, the Delhi Heights actor revealed that he now has a gym in his van and follows a 16:8 intermittent diet. The actor tried to fast for about 18 hours a day and kept eating periods between 6 to 8 hours.
In the same interview, he also talked about his Mumbai Saga co-actor John Abraham and said that he would feed him during the shoot, but not himself. After feeding them, the Pathan actor would suggest that they not eat carbs the next day if they are feeling guilty.
